Holiday Snaps - Ibiza

This a bit of a delayed post as ive been back off holiday now for almost 2 months, omg where has the time gone!! I dont get much time to post stuff and to be honest it took me forever to actually put the pictures on the laptop. Anyway here are a very few pics of me and my friend Ella and a lovely boat that I wish I owned! I love Ibiza!

How I wish I was back there now seeing as its so cold in England at the mo x

NOTD

Sorry for the quality of this picture, it was off my Blackberry. I just thought I would post this up as I bought this nail varnish today and absolutely love it. Its the perfect baby pink which no doubt is why Barry M called it "baby pink. Its number 119. I see alot of bloggers rating Barry M nail varnishes for the vast range of colours. It seems the darker and brighter colours that get the most mention but I have to say this colour is gorgeous and I would definately recommend everyone to go and get it!

Mac 209, 263 or 266! HELP!

I have just ordered Mac fluidline but didnt order a brush as I cant decide which one to get. The look im going for is natural so I dont want a massively heavy looking line. I want a brush that is good for beginners as in the past I have always used pencil liner. If anyone can tell me which one of these brushes would suit me best or which shaped one I will be better off with then I would be very grateful. If you have another make of brush to recommend then im all up for that too.

Thank you in advance xx

Ins & Outs

Ins:-

Naked Honey Skin Salve - Really like this product. I tend to just use it on my lips. I particularly love the smell!

Nars Turkish Delight Lip Gloss - I bought this at Harvey Nics at the Mail Box last weekend and have been wearing everyday since. I have read alot of reviews of people saying it doesnt last very long on the lips. It lasts no less than any other lip gloss I own so im happy with the staying power. Also it doesnt have that funny smell that people say about, it smells of nothing to me.

Nars Ashes to Ashes e/s - I have recently wanted to try out wearing colours in my crease as im very boring when it comes to my make-up and tend to stick to the same colours all the time. I thought this would be a good colour and also its not too pigmented so its quite subtle for a "crease beginner". Would like to know of a good brush to use for the crease colour as at the mo im using a cheapo brush from H&M and its ok but not ideal.

Mac Sugarrimmed Dazzleglass - This is such a nice gloss. Its glittery but once on the lips unless you have someone standing directly in front of your face, about 1 inch away then you wont see the glitter. It looks great over Mac Creme D'Nude.

French Connection Fragrance - I love this perfume. It smells like lemon so its a very fresh scent. FC do two perfumes this one and the FCUK Fragrance (i think thats the name), the FC one is in a clear glass bottle and the FCUK one is in a frosted glass bottle. You can buy a 30ml one which fits nicely in your bag for £10 and then the 50ml (again not 100% of the size) is £15. Bargain!

Out:-

Too Faced Shadow Insurance - When I first bought this it was great, my eyeshadows stopped creasing and I thought "great". However now that it is coming to the end of the tube (may be the reason why) it doesnt seem to be as effective. Also from day one its had this gone off smell, which is horrid. Im finding to that where I havent covered with eyeshadow it goes cakey and I find it quite drying.

Tigi Dumb Blonde Shampoo - There is nothing really wrong with this however my hairdresser said that the L'oreal Elvive range are just as good and when you have washed your hair it feels really soft whereas the Tigi shampoo it still feels quite tangled. If you can get as good a shampoo for half the price then you are going to!

John Frieda Dream Curls - I use the Straightening Potion in this range, the sister product to Dream Curls which I think is great. I have wavy/curlyish hair and wear it straight all the time. I thought it would be nice to have a change and bought the Dream Curls. Not good, I find it straightens my hair more than the potion does! It just pulls the curls out. I find this with alot of curl enhancing products though so could just be my hair. Wierd!

Bourjois Nail Varnishes - I just find these not very hard wearing. They cheap almost immediately. I do have to take some o fhte blame as my nails arent in the strongest condition but then I dont find this problem with my Revlon nail varnish so its a bit of a shame as Bourjois have a great collection of colours.

The Weather - I couldnt think of anymore products that I hadnt loved recently so I thought id complain about the weather. Its August and it keeps raining, very depressing :-(

Thanks for reading lovlies x

Im useless...& buys..

Im so sorry for the lack of posts on this blog, im so lazy! i work full time and attend dance classes in the evenings sometimes so its nice on my free nights to just lay on my bed and watch tv. Anyway ive bought loads since I last posted however im not going to put everything ive bought all in this post as it could take till Xmas for me to do that.

So the first thing I bought were these shoes. I saw them a while ago but a) refrained as was low on cash and b) i had tights on so were difficult to try on properly however im glad I didnt get them as they are now in the sale!I will wear these with skinny black jeans and possibly leggings. I heart these!

Following on from my last post to do with mascara ive actually stopped using the maybelline one and have now moved to the Max Factor False Lashes one. I really like this, it make my lashes look more natural and less spidery. I will definately be repurchasing this. Im still using the Clinque mascara as I did before.

Im off to Ibiza a week tomorrow with my friend and bought a few pairs of the cheap cotton shorts from Topshop. These are great because I wont wear shorts in England so I dont really want to be spending a fortune. I got a pair in white and a bright pink pair. Im thinking I might cut some old jeans up so I have a pair of denim shorts to take too.

I also bought this top from River Island. I already have it in white but its handwash and because I wear fake tan it rubs off onto white something chronic and its such a pain having to wash it all out. So after seeing the grey version of this top on Dollymix184's blog I decided to get this one too!
What a mission was that trying to post pictures. I really cant seem to get the hang of this blog lark.

So there are a few of my clothing purchases. As for make-up I recently got the Laura Mercier Mineral Powder which I love. I got it in natural beige. I use to use Bare Minerals but found it could make my skin look a bit dry and did give a bit of the classic "foundation look" which I dont like. The LM one is a lot lighter in formation and is a much lesser (is that a word??) coverage.

Im also loving Laguna Bronzer with a bit of MAC cream colour base in pearl to highlight the cheek bones.

At the weekend I went to Bath as my sister is currently studying near there. I bought a few things from MAC even though I shouldnt have really as I need to pay for my holiday, nevermind. I got Hue and Creme d'Nude after much debating between the latter and Myth. I felt my lips are very dry and Myth just accentuated this. I also got 2 eyeshadows in Yoghurt and Naked Lunch. I always wear pink eyeshadow, always very subtle shades though as I only like this colour on my eyes (they are blue). I wear it with silver eyeliner on the upper and lower lashline and it really makes my eyes standout and because ive been wearing this look for so long without the silver eyeliner I just dont recognise myself. Try this look out and you will see what I mean. Im yet to try the Naked Lunch colour, it has a peachy tint to it and its a very neutral shade so hopefully it will look ok. Ive seen KandeeJohnson use it alot so might try one of her looks out.

Hopefully this post makes up for my lack of effort over the past month. I will post again once im back off my hols. Quite a few of the bloggers seem to be off on their holidays too, so hope everyone has a good time.

Bye xx

Mascara Routine

First off so sorry for taking so long to update, im so lazy and not the most motivated of people. Anyway just thought id do a quick post of what I do to make my lashes as full as possible. I use two different mascaras, a high street brand and a more expensive brand.

I start with Maybelline Colossal Volume Express mascara on both top and bottom lashes. I then I leave them for about 10 minutes. I then use metal mascara comb (be careful!) on both set of lashes. Then I put another coat of the Maybelline on and finally go over both sets again with Clinique Lash Doubling mascara. I really like this mascara as the brush never clumps or appears to dry out and also the shape of the wand is brilliant for getting in the outer corners of the lower lashes.

My Weekend Purchases

So, I havent had a big shop with regards to clothes for at least 3 weeks as I went skiing and had to pay for it!! So my wages went in on Wednesday and its been burning a hole in my pocket ever since. So here is what I got, sorry but I need to find my digi camera lead so ive had to get the pics from websites..soorrreee
So I bought this top from River Island which I wore yesterday with leggings, a pair of dark brown flat knee high boots and a grey cardigan. It was £20, which was pretty good considering the price of Topshop tops these days, see below.
So this is one of the tops I bought from Topshop, if you know me then this is pretty much the type of type I live in, in the summer, white, loose and summery. Team it with a pair of skinny jeans and some gorgeous strapy sandles and you cant go wrong. I like this top because even though its loose at the front, at the back its quite fitted and with buttons all the down the back.

This top was £25 which is slightly too much for what it is, but I needed it!

This top/dress I just love. I will be wearing it with leggings and my £20 rusty colour boots from Deutchman Shoes (BARGAIN!). Its a coral colour and the shorter part covers the bum and then the other side is slightly longer. Again this is from Topshop and was £28, im sure Topshop prices never use to be quite as dear. As well as all the above I got a pair of black trousers for work and pair of black skinny jeans.

Ive only recently started getting addicted to all the beauty/fashion blogs. I know mine says Little_Miss_Make-Up however I will be posting up a few clothing buys. I always wonder how all of you girlies can afford such expensive make-up, so I thought id tell you what I do for a living so at least people will realise that we do actually work for what we buy! I am a legal secretary but am hoping to pursue a career in events in the not so distance future.

Hope you like my first post, please let me know! xoxo
